Why Kids Shouldn’t Be Given a Cell Phone
The modern world is getting more and more inclined to high-technology gadgets, with the kids as no exception. Most parents believe that a cell phone is a significant and helpful item in case of emergencies; hence, they bought one for their extra lucky children. However, little did they realize the possible adverse effects the use of this trendy device may have on their kid’s education and behavior.
Just take for example these two Spanish kids who have been sent to a mental institution to be treated for mobile phone addiction. Their school grades were failing and both experience serious troubles leading normal lives because of their disturbed behavior. Worse is, they learn to lie to relatives so as to get money for their phone expenses. There’s nothing wrong with cell phone use, however, too much is always detrimental.
