Netbooks vs. Laptops
November 2nd, 2008 • Related • Filed Under
For those who have been living under a rock, a netbook is a small, cheap laptop with a basic set of features, limited performance, and often a small hard drive. Read: cheap. Advantages to having a netbook: they’re cheap, so it doesn’t hurt so much if they just decide to break down and die, they are portable, most do not exceed 10″, and they do great as a second laptop. But it will not go the mile. Graphics are usually poor (meaning you can’t use it as portable CCTV cameras), and the keyboard is usually so cramped, it is a pain to type on. So whether you do buy a full-sized laptop, or end up with a netbook, the bottom line is, it works.
